We are Hiring!

We do our utmost to offer the best in client care to our owners, horses and ponies at our busy practice, so we’re on the lookout for a star we can trust to deliver in this Reception/Office Administrator role.
We are looking for someone who is as passionate as we are about providing the very best in customer care to our clients and their horses & ponies! We believe in providing an excellent service to build on our great reputation – but when it comes down to it, we’re only ever as good as the people who are the face and voice of our practice. So we are looking for another team player to join our fabulous, supportive existing office team and make the work we do even better.
Working from our lovely office in Biddulph Moor – which looks over the stunning views of Staffordshire and Cheshire (all the way to the Wirral!) – you will join our dedicated team to be the first point of contact for our clients and their horses and ponies.
Things to consider:
• Our office is a fast-paced environment requiring a keen and organised person – and a sharp attention to detail is vital. Office and customer care experience necessary.
• Great communication skills are essential, as the majority of the role of speaking to our clients is telephone-based. You need to be able to offer warm, knowledgeable, friendly reassurance, and remain calm whilst multi-tasking and prioritising tasks. Liaising with our vets via phone calls and other communication tools to ensure our diary runs smoothly at all times.
• Computer skills are required to use our database and email system. Understanding of Office software packages is an advantage.
• Everything we do revolves around horses and ponies, their care and well-being so a working knowledge is essential.
Understanding equine terminology is important and training is provided regarding the veterinary aspect.
Our office opens 8am til 6.30pm Monday to Friday and we are looking for someone to help cover our afternoon shift 1.30 til 6.30pm each day. General flexible availability is also needed to be able to cover shifts for others when holiday/sickness occurs.
